Penis Enlargement Surgery, Confirms Death of Influencer Igho Ubiribo
Coroner rules UK influencer Igho Ubiribo died from a fatal pulmonary embolism following a cosmetic filler injection at a Thai clinic during a vacation.

Inquest Links Death to Hyaluronic Acid Injection
A fatal pulmonary embolism killed 43-year-old British-Nigerian businessman and influencer Igho “Tiny” Ubiribo following a cosmetic procedure in Thailand, a U.K. coroner has concluded. An inquest held at Inner West London Coroners’ Court revealed that cellular material matching the injected filler was discovered inside his lungs during a postmortem examination. Coroner Jean Harkin officially ruled that the cosmetic treatment directly triggered the fatal blood vessel blockage.
Timeline of Events in Bangkok
The incident occurred in March while Ubiribo was on a luxury trip to Bangkok with his wife, Danielle Simba Allen. At an unnamed local facility, he received a 40-milliliter injection consisting of lidocaine and hyaluronic acid into his penis. Shortly after the procedure, while receiving a massage at the couple’s Marriott hotel, Ubiribo reported chest pain and lost consciousness twice.
Although he was conscious enough to answer initial medical inquiries upon arrival at Sukhumvit Hospital via ambulance, he passed out again before doctors could administer a recommended CT scan. Medical staff identified a pulmonary embolism and moved him to the intensive care unit. Despite over 100 minutes of continuous CPR, Ubiribo died early on March 6.
Profile and Industry Context
Ubiribo, who was also known as Denisi or Ego, maintained a social media following of roughly 185,000 on Instagram and was recognized for a lavish lifestyle. His assets included a $600,000 London apartment and a $1.1 million property located in the Crenshaw neighborhood of Los Angeles. He married Allen, a socialite and fashion designer, during a 2022 wedding in Zimbabwe that cost $473,000. Following his death, he was buried in London in a gold coffin reported to cost over $745,000, with attendees including music star Davido and Cubana Chief Priest.
Hyaluronic acid treatments of this type can cost up to $9,000, with effects lasting between six and nine months. Medical experts in urology from the U.K. have previously issued warnings regarding potentially devastating complications associated with these procedures.

A Mother’s Call for Kindness and Plasma Donation as Guilty Plea Expected in Son’s Death
Brandon Kazakoff is expected to plead guilty in the death of 15-year-old Tristan Seeger in Kelowna as his mother hosts a local memorial plasma drive.
Expected Court Appearance and Anticipated Guilty Plea
An accused driver is scheduled to appear at the Kelowna Law Courts at 9 a.m. on Oct. 13 for trial in connection with the death of 15-year-old Tristan Seeger. Crown prosecutors informed Tristan’s mother, Paule Seeger, that the accused, Brandon Michael Kazakoff, intends to enter a guilty plea on the first day of proceedings. Kazakoff was arrested and charged on Sept. 6, 2024, with dangerous driving causing death, failure to stop or remain at the scene, and assault with a weapon regarding Tristan’s homicide. Kazakoff was released on bail three days after his arrest.
Reflecting on the news of the expected plea, Seeger shared her mixed emotions ahead of entering the courtroom. “It took me a day or two to really process,” Seeger said. “Part of me was, leading up to this, thinking I really want him to plead out so we don’t have to go through this. But part of me also wanted him to sit there and listen to everything. Sit there with Tristan’s mom in the room and hear it.”
Remembering Tristan Through Community Support
The upcoming court proceedings fall near the anniversary of the incident. Tristan was hit by a vehicle near Ben Lee Park in Kelowna on Oct. 21, 2023, and died in the hospital the following day. The driver involved fled the scene. Seeger explained that medical blood donations gave her family crucial time to say goodbye while Tristan was hospitalized. To honor his memory, she organizes an annual blood and plasma donation drive, securing appointment slots for Tristan’s Team on Oct. 22 and 23 at Kelowna’s Plasma Donor Centre.
“Making sense of Tristan’s death does not mean a long prison sentence,” Seeger commented. “It’s doing things like donating plasma.” Seeger added that her focus remains on positive outcomes from her loss. “Help another person, that’s the stuff that should come out of this,” she stated. When asked about her message to the public, Seeger encouraged community unity: “In times like this when we can focus on the bad… be different, be kind, be gentle,” she said. “Choose the right thing and don’t let hate win.”

BC Conservatives Promise $50M Rural Healthcare Fund Amid ER Closures
BC Conservatives propose a $50-million emergency fund to target rural hospital ER closures and staffing shortages across British Columbia.
Conservative Plan Focuses on Rural ER Closures
Speaking outside 100 Mile District General Hospital on Monday, Oct. 5, Lorne Doerkson announced that a B.C. Conservative government would establish a $50-million emergency fund to support rural medical practices. Doerkson, the party’s interim leader and incumbent MLA for Cariboo-Chilcotin, said the funding aims to prevent closures and assist with recruitment.
During the campaign stop, Doerkson noted that the local emergency department had experienced 39 announced shutdowns throughout 2026, though last-minute locum coverage allowed Interior Health to reopen the facility on several of those occasions. Overall, the ER remained closed well over 30 times. Doerkson pledged to maintain approved 2026 healthcare funding levels, fast-track credentials for foreign-trained Canadian physicians, and recognize provincial medical qualifications automatically to aid frontline staffing.
Community Impact and NDP Response
Former Cariboo-Chilcotin MLA Donna Barnett joined Doerkson, emphasizing that local residents and seniors rely on the emergency room, with some traveling up to an hour and a half for care. Local resident Amber Vigh, whose nine-year-old son Carter died at the hospital from an asthma attack in 2023, also voiced support for keeping the facility open continuously.
In response, B.C. NDP leader David Eby and party representatives criticized the Conservative proposal, questioning how the party would fund its healthcare promises without making service cuts. The NDP pointed to their own strategy of funding system investments through a proposed tax on high earners and millionaires. Doerkson countered that the proposed tax could deter new physicians from moving to British Columbia or prompt current doctors to leave.

Vernon Voters Weigh Options as Political Leaders Target Okanagan Riding
B.C. NDP Leader David Eby and Conservative Leader Lorne Doerkson brought their campaigns to Vernon over the weekend, pitching platform promises to voters.
Okanagan Stops Highlight Key Platforms
With campaign momentum building ahead of the Oct. 24 provincial election, B.C. NDP Leader David Eby and B.C. Conservative Leader Lorne Doerkson made separate campaign stops in Vernon over the weekend to connect with voters in a highly competitive riding.
Eby arrived on 30th Avenue on Saturday with a campaign bus to support local NDP candidate Harwinder Sandhu and several other area candidates, including Loyal Woolridge, Kory Clark, Gloria Morgan, and Binny Boparai. Speaking to roughly 80 attendees, Eby emphasized his party’s commitments to manage living costs, highlighting plans to temporarily suspend the 10-cent provincial motor fuel tax and place controls on gas prices. He also detailed a grocery proposal aimed at permitting new competing stores near established ones, which he stated can reduce annual household bills by an average of $700. In his remarks, Eby pointed to international factors as well, attributing current economic strains partly to impacts from U.S. President Donald Trump’s trade policies.
Conservatives Outline Policies and Address Election Timing
Doerkson hosted a meet-and-greet on Friday, Oct. 2, drawing over 100 people to Okanagan Spirits Craft Distillery alongside local Conservative candidate Kevin Acton. Earlier that morning in Summerland, Doerkson announced a half-billion-dollar wildfire initiative that includes purchasing a fleet of water bombers. Discussing economic measures, Doerkson highlighted a proposal to eliminate the 10 per cent PST on Canadian alcohol and focus on reducing interprovincial trade barriers as strategies to counter U.S. tariffs. He noted that health care, employment, and the economy remain the primary concerns raised by residents. Expressing frustration over the timing of the election call, Doerkson affirmed that his party remains focused on the upcoming vote.
Focus on the Local Contest
Both leaders used their appearances to rally support for their local representatives in the Vernon-Lumby contest. Eby praised Sandhu’s record of community-focused advocacy, noting her past electoral success in the area. Meanwhile, Doerkson commended Acton—who is also seeking re-election as mayor of Lumby—for his ongoing local leadership. Acton has committed to vacating his municipal seat and funding a municipal by-election should he be elected to provincial office.
